About the role

As a Buyer at Rugvista, you will play a key role in optimizing our procurement processes to support our company’s strategic objectives. You will work closely with the Head of Supply Chain to forecast demands, place orders for new and existing products, and oversee production to ensure timely deliveries. Your analytical skills will be crucial in monitoring buying performance and ensuring we meet our business goals.

How You Make an Impact

• Conduct thorough demand analysis to predict and meet market needs efficiently.
• Place and manage orders for new rugs, repeat orders, and accessories.
• Oversee production processes, ensuring suppliers adhere to packaging and labeling instructions.
• Monitor pricing, product data, and buying performance against budget, identifying opportunities for optimization.
• Negotiate delivery terms, lead times, and pricing with suppliers to ensure advantageous conditions.

What You Bring

• At least 5 years of experience in purchasing, preferably within a relevant industry.
• A deep understanding of buying processes and supplier management.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate performance and optimize processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Swedish is a plus.
• Relevant university degree or equivalent qualification.
• Strong mastery of the Office-package and in particular Excel.
• A proactive mindset with a passion for achieving business goals and contributing to team success.
