Warehouse Operator
Join Rugvista as a Warehouse Operator and help keep our warehouse running smoothly. We're looking for someone who's hands-on, curious about technology and eager to improve the way we work.
Rugvista is looking for a Warehouse Operator for a fixed-term position at our warehouse in Malmö, covering for an employee on leave. As a Warehouse Operator, you'll be a key part of our daily flow – from receiving goods to picking, packing and handling returns. You'll work in an environment where accuracy, pace and teamwork make a difference every day.
We're not just looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work. We're also looking for someone who's curious, enjoys learning new systems and wants to help us improve the way we work.
About the role
As a Warehouse Operator, you'll support our inbound, outbound and returns flows, contributing to a smooth and reliable warehouse operation. You'll be assigned to a primary work area based on operational needs, while staying flexible to support other areas when required.
Your tasks may include:
Receiving, inspecting and registering incoming goods
Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
Handling and classifying returned goods
Ensuring materials, tools and packaging supplies are always available where needed
Maintaining accuracy in every step, from system registration to physical handling
Please note: This is a physically active role involving heavy lifting and handling of bulky goods, including rolled and folded rugs.
Who you are
No prior warehouse experience is required, though it's a plus.
Beyond being reliable and detail-oriented, we're looking for someone who's curious and enjoys improving the way things work. You'll probably thrive in this role if you:
Are technically minded and curious about how our warehouse management system (WMS) works – not just how to use it, but why it's designed the way it is
See yourself potentially growing into a key user or super user of our warehouse management system over time
Notice opportunities to improve everyday routines and aren't afraid to suggest better ways of working
Work with precision and attention to detail
Stay flexible and adapt to different tasks and areas
Keep a steady pace, even when priorities shift
Take pride in following processes and contributing to a well-run team
Bring a professional, responsible approach to your work
Hold a valid forklift license (truckkort), which is a plus but not a requirement – we're happy to arrange training for the right candidate
Are comfortable communicating in both Swedish and English, as our team is multicultural and both languages are used daily
What we offer
A role with the opportunity to make a real impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
A supportive, diverse organisation where people enjoy coming to work
Competitive compensation package, including wellness allowance, onsite massage and more
A culture built on our values
A position based at our HQ in Malmö
Employment type
This is a fixed-term position (vikariat) covering for an employee on leave. The employment starts on September 1, 2026 and is expected to last until no later than November 5, 2027.
Start date
September 1, 2026
