About The Role
As our cherished in-house photographer prepares for the wonderful adventure of parenthood, we are seeking a temporary replacement for 7 months to ensure continuity in our operations and maintain the high visual standards our team is known for.
If you are passionate about creating captivating visual imagery and driving brand engagement through photography, the role as part-time Photographer at Rugvista might be the perfect fit for you. As a Photographer, you play a vital role in shaping Rugvista's visual identity across various channels, including our website, campaigns, social media, and paid media.
How You Make an Impact
- Creating still life imagery aligned with Rugvista’s visual expression for both internal and external communications, ensuring consistency and quality across all platforms.
- Ideating and proposing innovative content ideas to meet Rugvista’s key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives.
- Defining and maintaining Rugvista’s visual image expression, keeping it current and relevant to drive brand awareness and engagement.
- Collaborating closely with the Art Director and Videographer to establish and maintain the visual expression before, during and after photo shoots (light, camera angle, expression), ensuring alignment with Rugvista’s brand identity and communication concepts.
- Conducting post-production tasks including retouching and cropping of still images to ensure high-quality final deliverables.
- Managing photography equipment, ensuring it is well-maintained, prepared, and packed for shoots.
- Supporting internal and ad-hoc initiatives by producing and adapting image material for various purposes, such as user-generated content (UGC) and artificial intelligence (AI) imagery.
What You Bring
- Demonstrable experience in photography, with a strong portfolio showcasing still life imagery.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas to meet business objectives.
- Proficiency in post-production tasks including retouching and cropping using relevant software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage photography equipment effectively as well as ensuring final deliveries are stored, named and tagged clearly.

Join Rugvista as a part-time Photographer in our small but mighty Creative Team, dedicated to creating compelling visual experiences that resonate with our audience and drive business success. You will report to the Creative Inhouse Manager.
Start date
Onboarding period (1 month): May 28 - June 20, 2024
Temporary contract (6 months): August 13, 2024 - February 13, 2025
Please note that this is a part-time position (50%) with fixed working hours on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week.
