As a Marketing Designer at Rugvista, you’ll play a key role in shaping our brand expression by creating beautiful, innovative, and purposeful designs for both print and digital assets. From packaging to animated content, your work will be integral in ensuring our visual identity remains cohesive and impactful across all communication channels.
About the role
At Rugvista, visual elements are central to our category of interior design. To stay close to the needs of our customers and the ever-changing media landscape, we produce all visual content and marketing assets in-house. We’re now looking for a Marketing Designer to join our talented Creative Team and help take Rugvista’s brand expression to the next level.
In this role, you’ll work on a wide range of projects, including print materials, motion graphics, video assets, packaging, advertising, and marketing collateral. You’ll have the unique opportunity to combine traditional graphic design with animation and motion storytelling to create engaging, multi-format content that drives our business forward.
As part of the Creative Team, you’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders across Brand & Content Marketing and Performance Marketing to ensure that all visual communication aligns with our brand identity and business goals.
How you make an impact
Design and animate multi-format assets: Create still and motion graphics for digital advertising, social media, packaging, print materials, and other channels.
Develop Rugvista’s visual identity: Contribute to maintaining and evolving our brand expression across all mediums, ensuring consistency in style and tone.
Produce marketing campaigns: Collaborate with the Creative Team to conceptualize and deliver visually compelling campaign assets, including animated videos, banners, and ads.
Optimize for performance: Design assets tailored to the specific requirements of social media, performance marketing, and on-site content, ensuring audience relevance and high performance.
Build and refine templates: Create and update templates for recurring materials, enabling efficiency in campaign production.
Act as a brand ambassador: Educate and guide internal teams on the Rugvista visual identity, ensuring alignment across departments.
Stay ahead of trends: Keep up with the latest developments in design, animation, and marketing to proactively incorporate new techniques and innovations into your work.
What you bring
A versatile creative portfolio showcasing expertise in both still and motion graphics for advertising and social media, including examples of print materials and animated content.
Strong skills in design software such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro (or similar).
Experience with branding and visual identity development, including creating assets for both print and digital channels.
Knowledge of design systems, typography, and layout, with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to maintain high visual and creative standards, a strong attention to audience, story and context, ensuring business needs are met whilst meeting creative expectations.
An understanding of various marketing platforms, and how to adapt designs and use video and animation to engage with different audiences and contexts.
Experience from producing ads for performance marketing in global markets, including audio, versioning, translations and testing.
An active interest and understanding of new developments in media, communications and technology landscape, along with AI as a tool for creativity and production within design, animation and moving graphics.
A great communicator, with ability to receive, interpret, and actively seek feedback to improve the creative work in future iterations.
Self leadership with a collaborative spirit and an ability to project manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.
Energy, impact-oriented and passionate about personal development.
Experience with editing and grading raw footage is a plus.
Experience from digital marketing for e-commerce will be advantageous.
Fluent in English.
5+ years of experience in a similar role.
