About the role - Creative Team Manager
Operating in a category heavily driven by visual storytelling, this role plays a central part in shaping how customers perceive and engage with the brand throughout the entire customer journey, from inspiration to purchase and beyond. As Creative Team Manager at Rugvista, your objective is to deliver high-quality ads and on-site assets that drive sales, while building a strong and desirable brand that customers trust. You will lead the visual expression of Rugvista across all channels and touch points, ensuring alignment with our brand identity and strategic objectives. You will lead a team of creatives who produce all visual content for our campaigns, paid ads, organic content and on-site communication.
You will be a part of our Marketing team, a full-service in-house agency, working with SEM, SEO, CRM, Social Media, branding, content production and campaign management. You will work closely with stakeholders across the company, especially our own media and performance teams as well as the purchase department and tech.
The role of Creative Team Manager is responsible for the Creative Team, and reports to CMO.
How you make an impact
In collaboration with internal stakeholders, plan and schedule the production of Rugvista’s marketing communication.
Plan and prioritize the work of the Creative Team, ensuring an optimal set up of resources and clear and collaborative processes.
Project lead creative productions and take active part in photo shoots.
Ensuring that productions and deliveries are in line with brief and brand expression.
Actively assess and iterate production and creative processes to maintain a positive working environment at optimum efficiency and creativity.
Responsible for our Brand Management platform and DAM.
Personal development of team members.
Production and team budget responsibility.
Keeping up to date with current developments within the online marketing industry to proactively incorporate relevant trends and innovations.
What you bring
We are looking for an experienced and ambitious individual with a proven track record of leading creative teams, either at an agency or in-house, preferably within a visually driven, fast moving, B2C-category.
You are passionate not only about the creative part, but also the business aspects.
Experience of managing content production workflows, including photography, video, design, and copywriting.
Deep understanding and passion of the online creator landscape as well as visual identity systems, brand storytelling, and cross-channel communication.
Experience of working with channels such as Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok is a must.
Interest and understanding of technology as a support for creative operations, including creative versioning, translation efficiencies, AI, DAM and content distribution tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Copy proficiency in Swedish & English a must.
Passionate about individual- and team development. Ability to work in a team, as well as high drive when working alone.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Experience from e-commerce will be highly advantageous.
Fluent English on a business level.
3+ years of experience in a similar position.
Swedish work permit is a must.
A strong interest in interior design is highly valued.
